Opting out of Text Messages

If a customer wants to opt out of text messages, they only need to reply “stop” from their phone and you will no longer be able to text them from Whiteboard. It’s important that they only use the single word “stop”, otherwise, the opt-out won’t work.

If they opt out by mistake, opting back in is as easy as them texting “start” from their number.

 

If they don’t want to get automated texts via a campaign, you can uncheck the “Use in campaigns box” under the Cell Phone field in their contact record.
